- This is Hello Fangaming's third Ultramario engine game.
- The same red coin gimmick from Super Mario Greetings was brought back. This gimmick is not seen again until the release of Super Mario Bros: Shine Pursuit.
- New features, like the on/off blocks, were programmed into the Ultramario engine for this game.
- This game's sky level was later recreated in the Hello Fangaming Collection as Sky Switches.
